Taipei Fashion Week Unveils New Brand Identity

TPEFW Repositions Its Platform Role; Official Website Relaunched

“Taipei Fashion Week AW26” will take place from March 26 to 29. As Taipei Fashion Week enters its “Year of Transformation,” it not only returns the spotlight to individual brands and introduces diverse showcase formats—including Runway shows, Presentations, and Events—while strengthening industry support resources to help brands engage broader audiences and elevate production quality, but also officially launches Brand Identity 2.0 alongside a redesigned website. The Ministry of Culture stated that through repositioning the role of Taipei Fashion Week, it aims to gradually build a more inclusive “Taiwan fashion industry promotion platform” that better supports brand growth and industry development.

According to the Ministry of Culture, Taipei Fashion Week Brand Identity 2.0 is designed and overseen by Creative Director Yen Po-Chun of Yen Design, with “intersection and convergence” as its core visual concept, responding to the unique cultural qualities Taipei has long demonstrated—a coexistence of diverse backgrounds, the interweaving of different generations and value systems, and the gathering and transformation of creative energies from both within and beyond the island. Drawing on the linear structures of the initials T/F from “Taipei” and “Fashion,” the identity employs linear compositions and open frameworks to symbolize the ongoing dialogue and mutual generation between city and fashion, life and industry.

Expanding on the concept of “intersection and convergence,” the motion identity, created by Second Nature, features multiple lines weaving together at varying rhythms and directions, representing the exchange and collision of diverse perspectives and creative energies within Taipei, radiating a multifaceted fashion spectrum; The initial “F” of “Fashion” is transformed into a graphic symbol, representing the platform spirit of “inclusivity and support, exchange and convergence.”

Rather than defining a single aesthetic for fashion, Version 2.0 seeks to frame “Taiwanese fashion” as a state of constant flow and ongoing generation. Much like Taiwan’s own cultural character—open, hybrid, and highly adaptable—the system adopts an extensible and flexible structure capable of accommodating design voices from different backgrounds and aesthetic positions, allowing every brand to be clearly seen, while retaining its own distinctiveness and point of view, on the same platform. The brand identity also functions as a visual coordinate system that reflects the city’s spirit, island culture, and industrial momentum, marking Taiwan fashion’s contemporary position—rooted in Taipei, reaching outward through exchange, and building inward through accumulation.

To go with the new brand identity, the official Taipei Fashion Week website has also been relaunched. The homepage features an interactive online experience titled “Reveal Your Color Tone” introducing the key themes of AW26. Each participating brand is given a dedicated page presenting brand profiles, seasonal highlights, and extended content, enabling audiences and industry professionals to quickly grasp the season’s focus and participation details. The four-day showcase program is thus extended into a searchable, understandable, and easy to follow real-time portal.

Taipei Fashion Week AW26 will be grandly held at the Songshan Cultural and Creative Park in Taipei. The four-day program includes up to 15 brand showcases, the “Live” streaming zone, the “Editor’s Pick Curated Market,” and the “Tradeshow.” The public is warmly invited to participate. More highlights and updates will be announced soon, please stay tuned to the official Taipei Fashion Week website and social media platforms.
