UNIFORMOSA

15–18 OCT (THU.–SUN.) 11:00 AM–7:00 PM

KONG ZONG CULTURAL BASE|Art Space I(1F)

Good design does more than create a finished work—it brings many people’s expertise into one shared outcome. When a uniform carries the creativity, skills, and care of multiple contributors, its value extends far beyond clothing.

Cultural Mass Production System — UNIFORMOSA is not only an exhibition, but a way of sharing a design methodology. From traditional deity embroidery to Olympic delegation uniforms, Justin Chou’s cross-disciplinary practice has also been included in school textbooks as an example of cultural translation and collaborative design.

This exhibition revisits over twenty years of uniform projects and the teams behind them, while presenting new uniforms for national image-building and international exchange. UNIFORMOSA sees design as both a medium and a shared stage—connecting artists, craftspeople, designers, and manufacturers, while bringing more of Taiwan’s creative energy into view.
