GIOIA PAN received professional training at Bunka Fashion College in Japan, one of the world’s most prestigious fashion institutions and the alma mater of internationally acclaimed designers such as Yohji Yamamoto and Kenzo Takada. This education established the strong aesthetic vision and technical foundation that continue to define her work. Widely recognized as the “Queen of Knitwear,” she describes her creative philosophy as “constructing form through yarn,” using the direction, rhythm, and density of knitted structures to shape both garments and artistic expression.

In 2014, GIOIA PAN received the prestigious Golden Top Award, the highest honor presented by China Fashion Week. She has also been honored twice as one of China’s Top Ten Fashion Designers, in addition to receiving awards for both menswear and womenswear design, as well as numerous fashion brand recognitions. Her international career has included exhibitions in Paris, an official runway presentation at New York Fashion Week in 2015, showcases at Tokyo Fashion Week in 2021 and2022, and a presentation in Milan in 2025.
